Tom Katsman

I’m a creative based in Rotterdam with a degree in Communication and Multimedia Design from the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. I love collaborating in teams, breaking our heads over challenging issues.

In my spare time I work as a freelancer, designing logo’s, websites, and branding identities for clients. I’ve loved design from the moment I took art classes in high school and have since been determined to do what I can to make the world a little more beautiful.

Piet Mondrian, Le Corbusier, Gerhard Richter, and Damien Hirst are some of the artists that heavily influenced my work. Their minimalism and use of color have impacted the way I think about design.

I rolled into UX and product design when I got to college and from that moment on I’ve been obsessed with understanding people and their problems, and providing digital solutions to accommodate their needs.

It’s extremely satisfying to dive nose-deep into new subjects I know nothing about, and learning as much as possible about it and it’s stakeholders.

I lose track of time when I’m coding or cooking and in my time off I love going to the gym, reading or thinkering around with personal projects.

By the way — right now I’m looking for a new challenge, so if you have a problem that you want to to sit down with me to think about, don’t hesitate to reach out!
